St. Gregorios Dayabhavan was felicitated for its services to community, especially for the poor and sick in the rural villages of Tumkur District in Karnataka, by the Kallooppara Valiapally (Niranam Diocese). On this occasion, the Marian Award was presented by H.H. Baselios Marthoma Paulose II, Catholicos of the East and Malankara Metropolitan to Rev. Fr. Jinesh Varkey (Secretary, St. Gregorios Dayabhavan) in the presence of Marthoma Valia Metropolitan, H.G. Dr. Philipose Mar Chrysostom Marthoma Metropolitan who was also felicitated on the occasion and H.G. Dr. Yuhanon Mar Chrysostomos Metropolitan on 13 Aug 2017.
This recognition is considered a significant milestone and a source of inspiration for the Organization.
