Kidney Diseases

The Foundation was established and inaugurated on the occasion of the 40^th day remembrance (Smarananjali) of the Founder President, Late Lamented Osthathios Thirmeni by HG Dr. Abraham Mar Seraphim as a joint venture of diocese of Bangalore and St.Gregorios Dayabhavan. This foundation is a tribute to the memory of his mission and vision of helping the needy.

 Awareness and Screening program

The caring hand of Dayabhavan has been extended to those suffering from Chronic Kidney Disease. The process commenced by creating awareness for poor people with known symptoms of Blood Pressure and Diabetes and those who have a family history of Kidney disease and subsequently, through screening programs in rural areas of Tumkur. Referral services are a part of the care mission. We reach out to about 6000 people every year both among rural and urban population.

 World Kidney Day Celebration

 Dayabhavan involved itself in this celebration on 13^th March of 2014 for the first time, and successfully imparted facts and information on kidney-related aspects in the entire Tumkur district of Karnataka State.
